Today I got my old Winsor Pilates dvds out and did one of the beginner 'ring' workouts. Wow! I really felt it. I enjoy pilates so I think this is one way I can keep on track. It doesn't interfere with my bad knees either so that's a bonus.
I need to work out what I'm going to do about the whole fruit and vegetable dilemma. I live on a remote island that only has one small shop. Food takes about 2 weeks to get to our island by barge so by the time it gets to the shop it is no longer fresh. I definitely can't diet and survive on frozen vegetables that's for sure. This is going to take some planning...
Back to work tomorrow and this is going to be a real test. I need to stay focused and exercise even if I'm exhausted!

Day two, successful day! YAY! I am finding it difficult to log my food. I mean, I put in what I've eaten but it doesn't seem to be anywhere near the right calorie intake. I was surprised at my carb intake. I'm not strictly doing a low carb diet but I know that I've had success previously cutting out carbs. One of my biggest problems is my large portion sizes so I am trying to be aware of that.
Felt good about exercising today, even though I was sore from yesterday.
My biggest test will be after I return to work on Monday. I am usually exhausted by the time I get home that I have no energy to do anything. I hope to change this though!

I've started my journey today! I cannot believe I have reached this weight. I was shocked when I got onto the scales and saw 80kg !!! How did this happen? Well, that gave me a major kick up the butt and am taking action now!
