It felt so good to Get outside and work on the yard. Almost thru my overgrown backyard grass when the lawn mower spark plug quit. Of course had to order one. Hopefully it will be in today. It's too muddy to till the garden or turn over the raised beds after 4 inches of rain wed and thurs.
13,760 steps yesterday. Food ok. A lazy start to a Sat. Morning. Must get going and take advantage of good spring weather on a day off. It seems to rain whenever i can get outside lately.

Not enough veggies or complementary proteins yesterday. I did get a 1 mile walk in. Plans for after work were de-railed but tis life and though troubling was good.I have a 3 day weekend and hope to get a lot of work done on my yard.
I talked to my youngest daughter on the phone for a long time last night. She has a totally controlling spouse who has isolated her from her friends and family. A call from her is a rarity, we rarely call her as it causes her issues with her spouse. She wants out but feels trapped as she has 2 young children and one is special needs. She knows i will understand as her dad was abusive to me and per the syndrome: for years kept trying to make things work. I finally escaped. Relieved that she is getting some medical and psychological help for her depression and alcohol issues probably due to her ongoing situation.

Yesterday was not a good day. Little sleep (about 2 hours) as restless to start with and we had 6 loud gunshots in our normally peaceful neighborhood about 11:30. cops all over within a few minutes searching the neighborhood with searchlights. Ended up outside talking to a neighbor @ midnight who had just spoken with one of the cops. I didn't really sleep after that.
The cops didn't find anything that we know of.
I was so tired I barely made it through my workday and had popcorn for dinner as no energy to cook or clean up. I was in bed by 7:00. It didn't help that it was stormy and gray all day. I did not get my walk in.
Today will be better after a good night's sleep.

Nice to have my work from home office clean and decluttered. It had acquired clutter over the past 6 weeks.
Yesterday I did not meet my mile a day goal. I will do today on my lunch break. Work was a normal super busy Monday during this extended tax season. Then a run to the grocery store, misfits market box arrived, clean parts of the frig, get some dinner, clean up the kitchen and time for bed. I have a plan for my morning smoothies for using up fruits and veggies. This am an overripe pear and a big slice of pineapple.
Back to doing some prep for 2 meals at once as I go along as I have been making too much and get tired of eating the same things all week. So smaller amounts but make enough for 2 meals. It's hard to cook for 1 person. After 14 years one would think I would learn. :)

My old friends are aware of my theory. Weight loss and health is tied to your whole life. My house has been a mess with a recent major bathroom re-do. I still have a bit to go, the mirrors for the vanity cabinet came in Friday.
I had been stressing about my house as i hate living with clutter even if it is project clutter. Yesterday was clean and de-clutter. I still have some to do this am and a ton of catch-up laundry but it feels better. This will decrease my stress and let me begin working on my yard as the weather forecast is warmer starting today. Mowing the grass is also on the to-do list for today for this afternoon. I love working outside.
I exceeded my step goal yesterday and will today. I have so much more energy when the sun is out!! Time to move!!
