As usual it's a challenge. I have adult children in the house, they are surfers with incredible metabolizmus. After a day on the waves they want rich fatty food. I get it you need to replace all the energy it takes to do a highly physical activity like surfing. so The exposure is sometimes unbearable! But I manage. I just try to keep my eye on the goal. As difficult as it is sometimes, I know were I want to be and what I want to do once Iam close, and there. I am really trying. I know how much better I feel just at this point. I think once I am there I will feel unbelievable. I keep focusing on all those good things and I want them. I am gonna keep going.

Aloha all; Really frustated!!!!! I have been fighting 2 lbs. for what seems like forever. I guess it has been somewhere around a month. I can,t seem to break 177
every time i hit it I bounce back up 2 or 3 lbs. I tried the keto beef and butter fast which brought me down to 177. I have not been able to loose since going back to the stricter cal and carb diet. Keto, with watching cals. I did have a drink about 2 weeks ago vodka and soda, not even a twist or squeeze! I wish I knew what to do. I am afraid to try anything extreme as I don't want to impair my ability to get back on track. But this is getting ridiculous. I wouldn't say Iam starving but I am on 1200 cals or less. I have faith that I will break this pateau and get there. It is just so frustrating. Aloha and good luck all hope your weeks are going much better.

Seems like I am fighting for every ounce! Earlier in the week I had a backslide. went up to 181 but came right back down. Didn't cheat, I guess we just fluctuate and just have to deal with it and hang in there. Even though the scale doesn't show it I look a lot slimmer and am swimming in my cloths. Still like 55 lbs to go but I am looking much better and feeling better. I am still fighting wanting to eat things not good for weight loss. Now am at the point that just reading the recipes is satiating. I just want to get there and stick with it. Bc once there you still need to stay with it to maintain. I am really getting ahead of myself! I need to just stick with one foot in front of the other. I will get there.

Aloha All; Thank you so much for your awesome support! Happy New Year. I wasn't sure I would make it through the holidays and stick to the diet/lifestyle. But I did relatively well. I had a glass of champagne to welcome the New Year, as is tradition in my family, right at midnight. I wasn't put off at all. I did want more but we just got a single bottle. Thank goodness. So here we are on the third and I am down 2 more lbs. I had tried the beef and butter fast for four day before the N.Y. and IT WORKED! However as soon as I ate I think it was 3 or 5 carbs it miraculously returned. So now I think I will just stick to what I have been doing, endure the slumps, stick with it and be patient. It seems slow but it is working. Hope everyone had a great holiday season and if you slipped,thats okay! Don't beet yourselves up about it, just get back on the horse. Be selfish it's your health and how you feel about you. Mahalo and Aloha

I am inching my way there. I have tried many roads to a weight loss diet, I discovered that the only true way is slow and steady. I believe that fast weight loss leads to continual gaining. So I am not to upset by the pace. Although I started 10/1/19 at 210 pounds now Dec. 21,2018 I am at 182.2 pound so thats not bad 28 lbs. in 3 and a half months. that comes out to just under 10 lbs a month so I am not complaining.
