Just turned 30 in June (2019).... and was the heaviest I’ve ever been at over 230 lbs. Graduated high school (May 2007) at 120 lbs! (I was always small growing up, and not very active). Then, a few months later at the end of July (2007), before starting my freshman year at university, I was in a terrible car accident. This is when I put life on pause. For the next 12 years I struggled with PTSD, major depressive disorder, and anxiety (panic attacks). I started and stopped multiple medications until finding the right combination, and in the process I ballooned like a whale!

However, this story does have a happy ending! In March of this year (2019) it was like a switch flipped and I decided I was done with my pity party and ready to live life again. I started coming off of all my psych meds (guided by a doctor of course) and can’t wait for what the future holds!

I am sooo embarrassed by my weight and have horrible self confidence. But my main goal is to lose weight so I can be the healthiest me and feel more comfortable in my own skin. In March (2019), I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (bladder disorder). To help control this, I do have some dietary restrictions. I will list them below.

Personally: I’m a single 30yr old living on her own in a small city. In everything I do, I try to bring glory to God. Very close with my family! Apartment manager. Went to college for music and art. I love animals, reading, binge watching Netflix, music, and Florida Gator football!

IC diet restrictions:
No caffeine, tomato products, citrus, chocolate, juices, teas, be careful with carbonation, careful with dressings and sauces, no alcohol!
I basically only drink water. Occasionally (1x every 3months) I will have a sprite. If I go to the movies, I might try a small cherry slush, but I’ll pay for it later.
