I'm a grandmother raising my two youngest grandchildren who are both disabled. I crochet avidly, knit badly, love my pets (4 cats and a dog), read voraciously, and have a generally great outlook on life. I'm diabetic and am therefore on the Keto Diet which is the greatest thing I've ever found for controlling blood sugars, lowering triglycerides, stabilizing almost everything. I've lost 40 pounds so far. My doctor is amazed at me. I've stopped taking anti-inflammatory, dropped my blood pressure to almost normal, no daytime insulin, and half my night time dose. I'm aiming for no night time dose. We'll see. I can now do easy exercise so I walk on my treadmill daily. That's me in a nutshell!
