I had a busy week with a few naughty food days. But I managed to fit in 2 exercise classes. The good thing about kettlebells is that even a short workout gives you fast results. I was able to complete all sets during the second class when I had to stop the first time around. It's so intense that I can feel the blood rush through my muscles for 24 hours afterwards.

Heather, I getting bored of PB in my protein shake, always tastes the same. I put 2 couple of tablespoons of ground almonds in the blender instead. Also works with whole nuts. I will try linseed next.

Erika, I'm addicted! It's such an amazing all round workout, I'm hoping to drop a dress size soon. Problem is that my muscles are sore for 2 days afterwards and I feel, I really need to rest. I'd like to fit a run in once a week but it's difficult.

Are you? I still love the pb2 in my shakes but I don't have quite so many shakes as I don't tolerate them so well. It doesn't seem to matter how raw I go, I just can't seem to handle a lot of plant protein. So now I'm in to MHP Power Pak pudding. 30g in each serving, low glycemic, low carb. And no rashes. Good job on the kettle bells, Lara.

Heather, after one year of protein shakes, I am getting quite bored. But high protein breakfast seems to work well, stops me from binging on carbs later in the day. Once a while I make porridge with oats, fruit and cinnamon but I get hungry again sooner. Can't face omlette or scrambled eggs early in the morning.

LOL on the omelette. Yeah, tht is kind of boring. Since I'm out cycling or weight training early, my breakfast of champions is still oatmeal and my during workout meal is nut butter (with agave) on (gluten free) bread. Carb load! Pistachios for snacks. I'm loving hempseed on my spinach salad for lunch. Will have to try your ground nuts in my shakes.

Carbs for our champion! You obviously need them for your intense workouts. As I don't do much cardio, I get on better with more protein. Brazil nuts are good, I throw 4 whole ones in the blender with my shake. I really need to go to the health store this week and stock up.
