Positive self-talk won this morning and I got my workout done. I really wanted to stay in my cozy bed, but that's not going to get me to my goals. I was in a rush this morning though getting my lunch and snack ready, and prepping our dinner in the crockpot, that I forgot my protein shake. I was looking forward to it because this morning I'm hungry, even after breakfast. I do have an extra low cal snack packed away in my desk, so if I need something more I'll have that.

Last night I was watching Fit-to Fat-to Fit. I thought it was interesting that the trainers who have made healthy eating and exercise their way of life, cried to eat junk food and had a hard time getting it down. I told my husband that I want to feel that way someday, like I just can't eat junk. It was also interesting that once the trainers had been eating junk and not exercising for a while, they were tired, didn't feel well, and tended to be in a bad mood. I know when I eat well more consistently I feel better, have more energy, and I just feel good mentally. I thought it was a good view into what eating poorly can do to you, even if it's an extreme. It sure did make me think anyway.

Not much new in my world today, other than my hubby is sick and I really hope he doesn't have influenza. Fingers crossed!
