I'm so busy at the moment (I care for my 90 year old diabetic grandad and also running around after my lot!!!) and I could do with meal replacement shake for lunch but I'm struggling to find a low carb one!!!!!vI have tried protein shakes but nutritionally they are pants!!!!! I know you can make your own but if I had time for that then I wouldn't need a shake. Anyone know of any decent ones out there? 😘

Hi Carmelle75 I hear what you say about protein shakes and how they taste, l have been using them for a while now and don't know of a better product to supplement a meal, to make them taste better l add different fruits to it but that increases the preparation time and therefore not going to help you but you can prepared it earlier and just give it a good shake to mix it up again. You can also get a weight gain protein powder that once mixed will provide around 800 calories which is ok for a busy person like yourself, if you google the company my-protein and open the protein shake section and look for weight gain powders and see if they will help you, as for taste it's an individual thing. Last point, like all these products they can/are expensive. I am not sure if this of help to you, protein shakes have there place in weight loss/gain and therefore I find them useful but l prefer to have a proper meal because it's much more satisfying and staves of hunger longer. Give that a thought to.

P.S. The weight gain powder is used for people underweight and taken with normal meals? You would be using it as a replacement meal therefore you would not have anything else with it so you would not gain weight. Does that make sense to you.

Thanks both of you I appreciate the advice 😀 I have gone for a whey protein low in carbs that I can add cream too just to fill me up and keep my main meal at night for nutrition!!!! 😋
