Walked 3.1 miles this AM with DH and doggies.

In a very crappy mood, so I opened some almond butter and ate that. Now, I'm in an even worse mood because of the carbs and calories it adds. I'll be signing off and trying to get myself involved in some kind of project that will keep me away from food and my mind otherwise engaged. Hope to be better tomorrow.

Hey there Sandy. Glad your DH is walking with you. The loose dogs make me nervous for you. Did you get down you tree yesterday? If not, that would be a great project for today. Hope you have a great day my friend.:):)

Hi Laurie, yes, the tree is down and, as of this morning, it's been picked up for recycling. Unfortunately, yet another loose dog came running down the street after us this morning with the owner running after it. While it was only a Dachshund, it continued to bark almost the entire time as it came charging over. Owner didn't even say "sorry."

Bren, I wish I knew what the trigger was. Today seems better....haven't punched anything yet, but the day is still young - LOL!!!!!

I'm really glad your hubby goes with you now for the walks. You would really be in a pickle if there were a bunch of dogs. That would NOT be a good thing. So glad to hear you got rid of that tree. What's your chore for today? Mine is nothing. I really need to get my butt in gear and start exercising again. I just don't seem to MAKE the time and I know I need to. Oh well, have a wonderful day my friend.:):)

Sandy, I have days where I ust wake up in a really bad mood. No rhyme nor reason. Thankfully they are few and far between, as those are the days I want to devour anything that I THINK will make me feel better...ice cream, cake, cookies...you know what I mean! Glad you got your tree down. Hope your Tuesday is going better. Hugs, my friend!

Laurie, it's truly a lot nicer - and safer - if DH goes along. But, he's not retired, like your Art, so I only get his dog-walking services when he's got the day off....like Monday. But I always take a small container of pepper spray intended for use against dogs. I've never had to use it, but I've had it in my hand a few times and come close to spraying it a time or two.

Stef, that's exactly why I went for the almond butter, thinking it would make me feel better, but of course, it only made me feel worse. Almond butter in moderation, is fine, but I know, esp. in hindsight, that I wasn't going into it as an acceptable food! Tuesday is going better....thanks much.
