Well, most of the muscle soreness is gone - Thank God! I've been through this a number of times; murder to go down the stairs, no problem going up. I'll either be running again this afternoon, or in the morning - not sure yet. I am Santa Claus at the American Legion this evening for the annual Christmas dinner. Was up late last night wrapping presents - only had 2 elves to help me - my wife and granddaughter. :D
Starting to get a little excited about my progress. Ticker will turn again in 5 more pounds! Who'd have thunk it?

How exciting being Santa Claus.... You'll need a bit of padding to be authentic now :-). Can't have a skinny Santa. I wonder why Santa is always depicted as "unhealthily" plump... Must be all those mince pies and sherry he consumes on Christmas Eve (is that a tradition where you are, to leave out mince pies and sherry for Santa?)

I did have trouble keeping my pants up; they don't even have a drawstring. I had to go to heroic efforts to keep them up until I could get the coat on, and cinch the belt around everything. I am probably going to have to sew a pillow in there or something; nobody wants a scrawny Santa. Good for me; but not so good for the kids. They leave out cookies and milk here. I would rather have the mince pies and sherry myself.
