Stepped up my game a little this morning. Started doing higher intensity for a quarter mile, then jogging for a quarter, and did a couple miles that way. Legs got a little tired, but I still don't think I really pushed myself. Heartrate drops about 20 beats in the first minute; so I don't think I'm way off my target heartrate. Don't want to overdo it either. I'll start doing this a couple times a week, and do my long runs on the weekend. It takes some of the boredom out of treadmill running, and of course, it buids speed and endurance. I'm starting to get a little worried. If I get in too good a shape, I'll outlive all the women my age, and have to settle for a younger one; then I'll really have to be in good shape. Like I said, I don't want to overdo it. :)
