I had mine out and felt 100 times better just a week later. Simple procedure nowadays, not like major surgery years ago.

Does your body seem different with it out? Your eating have to be different?

you'll have trouble digesting fats... take probiotics and digestive enzymes. .. fermented foods as well ...

Be careful with the fermented foods. Also, try some apple cider vinegar before your meals. Just a teaspoon in warm water. It helps to break down the fats. Or some HCL supplements to boost acid levels in the stomach. I use the vinegar myself.

I second the vinegar

if you have gallstones they will just take it out most likely.

That would suck...but i suppose its better than these sharp pains i get.

yea. there's apparently ways with olive oil and lemon juice to dissolve them but I don't know if that would actually work... I don't think it does. .... but if you have a stoned up possibly infected gallb5its best to have it out. my sisters was so bad it almost killed her.

Oh wow! Thats scary! Well hopefully something can be done soon. Im nervous and frustrated about it.

if they aren't rushing surgery it probably isn't as bad as my sister. yes very frustrating. .. stay away from all fats until you know more to cut down on the pain

I had several gallbladder attacks that just made me ACHE really bad. Until I could get a hold of it I was miserable for over a month. They wanted to do an ultrasound but I can't afford it so I make sure I eats LOTS veggies to go with my fatty meats. Have been gallbladder attack free since the first of the year. Praying it stays that way!

are you in canada or the u.s??

ok... I was going to say in cananda all my friends who have had their out had to make themselves have attacks a certain amount of time before they drs. would actually take them seriously. .. it would have to be documented at the emergency room...so hopefully u.s. doctors will do it sooner and you won't have to suffer as long

Wow Canada dr are like that? Crazy! Gallbladder pains no joke! If not treated, can lead to more serious issues. Sono went ok. The lady said she could tell i was hurting. Said results wont be in for family dr till tues! I looked at her and was stunned. This was ordered asap. She said call family dr this afternoon. Idk how much of a difference that will do ,but i can. Ill keep marching along, being very careful with what i eat. Last night i was mad at myself for having ice cream. Not a food to eat with gallbladder issues! Im a tough mom, ill get through this.

Ya I have horrible back issues.. and for 10 years canadian drs didn't help me. just pumped me full of drugs. finally got an mri to show I really had bad issues and the orthopedic surgeon said they won't help me unless I become incontinent and cant walk. ... I COULDN'T FEEL MY RIGHT LEG!!...... went to an American dr... basically he said if I can pay for it I can be fixed. .... in 30 mins .. 30 mins!!!! I spent 10 years terrified of being in a wheelchair, I even bought one!... and 30 mins this man changed my life.
