Although I hate dragging my butt out of bed in the morning, what a difference it makes when I've completed my morning exercise - whether it's walking, jogging, biking or swimming. Combine that with a smart breakfast, the shower afterward, and you've got the best start possible for your day. As long as I keep myself busy in the evenings and away from the couch and TV, I stay on track. I'm in it for the long haul now. Took up pen turning. Made my first pen last night. Looks great - a few little things I can improve on. The best part is that it kept me standing and doing something enjoyable instead of sitting down and thinking about food, or how I might actually do something tomorrow.
