Followed the 5/2 diet for Monday and Tuesday, lost 700g thus far. Maybe fast Thursday again and make it 4/3 diet. Just hope it works.

WOW, you are down 700g...that's great stuff...keep up the good work!Out of curiosity...how many calories do you consume on your fasting and non-fasting days?are you exercising as well?

Fasting...Monday 368cal and Tuesday 413. Didn't count yesterday on the non fasting...yeah had a gym session also yesterday. I don't feel that I should gym or gym vigorously on fasting day as I might feel weak. Are you fasting as well?

NankeS it's not advisable to fast on consecutive days. The 5:2 Fast Diet is about fasting on non-consecutive days to make it easier and more manageable. Perhaps try joining some of us that do 4:3 fast on Mon, Wed and Fri. Take it easy at the gym to get used to training in a fasted state and your body will adapt very quickly to it and then you can increase the intensity of your workout. It's all very flexible so customize it so that you find it easy to follow :)

Duly noted, wanted to do the 4:3 but with fasting on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Will change it following your advice, gained the 700g back on Wednesday after the two fast days...fasting today again.

The weight will fluctuate alot daily. I do my official weigh-in on Thursday mornings after using the loo and having a bath and before consuming anything. I chose Thursday mornings because it gives me 3 days to digest any of the weekend indulging and it will be a consistent weekly comparison. I thought about weighing in on Saturday mornings but I realised that I may sometimes indulge on a Friday night so that would cause a problem for keeping my weigh-in consistent and fairly comparable. I do weigh everyday out of curiosity but only record the thursday weight :)
