Update on my 14 day fast.

Day 8 of 14 fasting, 6 more days to go. I feel great, not hungry at all. I've experience a boost in energy for some odd reason and I sleep way better and deeper. When I say deeper I mean my dreams get pretty vivid. I try to force myself to sleep, but I can't sleep past 6 hours. My body just wants to get up and do stuff. My mind feels more clear, my eyes seem to be better. Looking at things seems sharper and more vibrant. I'm more perceptive and aware of my surroundings and overall sense of well-being is high.

I've been taking multivitamins, fish oil, vitamin d3, and vitamin C during my fast. I've been drinking only distilled water.

I've already lost a bunch of weight. On January 1st this year I was 245 lbs. I started the new year off with a 5-day fast. I'm now 220lbs and hoping I get to 215 by day 14? All in all I've lost 25 pounds since the beginning of this year. This is my second long term fast. I won't be doing another long term fast until April.

When I lost 71 pounds the first time I discovered keto and intermittent fasting, I did a 5-day fast every other month and 24 hour fasts every day in between. I ate only keto foods and I didn't exercise. I wanted to prove that I could lose weight on diet alone. The whole process took 6 months, but was worth it.
