Happy New Year everyone!

My festive season break is over and my unofficial weight this morning was at 114.1kg which is 6.1kg up in total from my pre-christmas weight and 4.5kg up from last week's official weigh-in. Whilst such weight gain may demotivate and upset most people, I personally am not concerned about it :) My experience has shown me that such weight gain during a break is mostly water and undigested food and the weight drops down again after getting back on track for a week or two.

I start as of today(Monday) with my fast day and a gym session.

All the best for 2016 and let's strive for a healthier version of ourselves from what we were in 2015 :)

duddeee!! I gained that amount too!! Are you really not upset? I am. I just got back from a three week trip away (curry and tikka and roti's literally every single day) Today is Day1 of a 10 day 24 hour fast (3 hours eating window period 7pm-10pm) and daily gym session. I cant do zero cal's because my mom's staying with me and she'd be upset if i didn't eat dinner with her. So I'm dinner-to-dinner type of fasting. I hope this can count as fasting. But post-Diwali you went back on track in NO time!

I honestly really am not upset :) I kept my Monday Fast Day, had a Low- Carb Tuesday of under 60g Carbs and checked my weight this morning and it came down to an unofficial weight of 111.1kg :D :) Today is my Wednesday Fast Day so I'm hoping to break into the 110's by tomorrow which will still be a gain to my pre-new-year's-day weight but a drop to my post-new-year's-day weight :D Your dinner-to-dinner type fasting will be an extended form of Intermittent Fasting and it will still make a difference BUT perhaps keep a limit of 500 calories every alternate day so that you don't scoff down excessive calories each night and can still enjoy eating and losing weight that u gained.
