Well tickle me pink!!!

In just 9 days with 5 training sessions I am only 20 seconds of my best ever time for 3.1 miles. And never once did my heart rate over 145bpm. I think no I know that this guy is really on to something ☺

Running has been the one thing in my life that help me lose weight and keep it off. I haven't been running much lately and miss it (I have been exercising though).

Jim....This guy, Rich Roll doesn't make me do anything. Reading one of his books inspired me. I have been trying for a long time to get faster, have more stamina. Without avail. When he trained for ironmaster he trained within a range of 75-85% of his MRH . It just made sense to me since everything else I have tried just left me exhausted. Now I do my miles and feel refreshed. I will soon increase distance and time but in babysteps ☺

I love Rich Roll -- his podcasts are great, too. I'm not a runner, but I workout 5 days/week for 1-2 hrs day and work a ton of hours. I've been vegan since 1983; mostly raw and now 99% raw for the past 3 years. For me, 9and this isn't true for all), being a healthy vegan provides me with ridiculous, abundant levels of energy, stamina, endurance.
