Wow that looks good. What is in it? I need more recipes with greens. Right now I mostly just blend them in my fruit/protein smoothies. 😂

It's just kale boiled in a little chicken broth with some leftover chicken meat and a handful of barley. It was really good and FAST!

I make my own stock AND buy many as well. Check out Freak Flag bone broth. Great flavors and a really simple quick way to have a hot meal with any veggie and protein. I love barley and keep it already cooked in single servings in the freezer.

Thank you, trailing the sun, I'll check that out. I've never heard that brand but I'll look for it. I love barley too and definitely will be making extra and throwing that in the freezer as you suggest, that's a great idea! Especially since daughter isn't a fan so single portions for myself will be a breeze and I'll have it more often. 🤗💪
