rubato456's Journal, 16 Jan 24

Back in the swing of things post colonoscopy and endoscopy, eating my usual diet and trying to write it if I bite it! Meeting with the dietitian on Friday wish me luck. I’ve been really bad these last couple of days with the severe cold eating like crazy.

I was very anemic, and they had to rule out gi bleeding. in fact, that was the cause most likely of my anemia. I had many tiny ulcers throughout my entire upper and lower G.I. tract from taking nsaids! never again. Which is bad news because I have bone on bone arthritis in my spine.

But at least they didn’t find any cancer or anything else more concerning other than esophageal dysmotility and a weirdly shaped esophagus. They did a number of polyps and they said the prep was in adequate so I have to come back in a year and do a two day prep! I hope that doesn’t kill me.
