This weekend was awesome with wins for us in the Rugby and Cricket but not so good for me with the nibbling, sweet treats, etc. Then again, what are weekends for? LOL.

Having a good fast day today and got a nice gym session done. Will hit the gym again tomorrow. The weight loss over the last few months has been very motivational so I have started a new training technique that will possibly assist in hypertrophy and muscle growth. I'm not a body builder but I love the challenge of transforming my physique from obese to a muscular one.

NOTE:
I have lost weight/fat without slogging it out at the gym and only went to the gym once or twice per week. Now I plan to focus my gym sessions to help grow muscle mass so please don't look at what I am doing now and think that one has to work hard at gym to get weight/fat loss results.

I'm also doing a fast today to off-set some indulgent weekend vibes!

Fast days really do offset those indulgent weekends! I'm so happy to be able to indulge and still lose and if I gain I know I just need to be a little strict the following week and i'll get back on track. Do you do a 500/600 Calorie fast or a no-food fast?

I find it SO much easier to do a no-food fast. Easier in less admin or counting calories or watching what im eating. I just drink black coffee, water and green tea. If I don't drink i'm faaamiiishhheedddd! How many days do you fast to offset a weekend?

I get by with 3 to 4 cups of Nescafe Classic coffee with 15ml full cream milk per cup and water on my fast days :) I fast on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays every week and I follow Intermittent Fasting everyday where I only start consuming food after midday on a non-fast day and stop around 8/9pm. I've found that if I keep to this plan then my weekends don't do too much damage and I still see a drop in weight on my Thursday morning weigh-in. I chose Thursday mornings to weigh myself because it is 3 days away from sunday so it gives me 3 days after the weekend and a day after a fast day so it gives me a consistent indication of my weight each week. I try making my Tuesday a low carb day so I get 2 fast days + 1 low carb day before my weigh-in day. Fasting on the 3rd day(Friday) because. . . why not! It's only going to benefit me :D
