Does anyone else get hungrier AFTER they eat? I'm OK as long as I don't eat. It would be so much easier to be anorexic but I know better. So, I eat. Then, I'm hungry.

I use Now Acacia Fiber. It turns out the hunger phenomenon is not in my head. I'll post about it tomorrow. :-)

Sorry to hear about your struggles Johanne. That sounds really frustrating. I don't have any advice, but I support you and I hope you find either a cognitive behavioral change or some other strategy that works for you to avoid these cravings. I feel hungry after dinner a lot and I think it has to do with my not eating breakfast or eating too few calories in the morning. So I've tried to invert my eating pattern...easier said than done! Good luck :)

I use to sometimes feel extremely hungry after eating, but I have recently discovered it was what I was eating...or not eating (protein) that made me feel that way. I know that you can't just up your protein intake due to health issues, so I am sure that you are very frustrated with the situation. It made me wonder if chewing-gum or an after meal mint may help to take the edge off of those hunger pains. I know it sounds a little silly to try it, but it is just a suggestion. Good luck!

The "hunger" pains I feel immediately after I eat turned out to be a probable ulcer. That's why the pains lessen after a few hours. It's not all in my head, after all. More in today's journal. :-)
