How stupid am I? I messed up the whole day! I haven't had much sleep for a week now and surprize surprize I'm feeling exhausted! All my life I have seen food as confort and I am trying to change that, however today I just forget everything and went on binguing. I felt terrible afterwards so I had to burn calories, so I did body combat for less than a hour. But that isn't enought so I'm going for a 5km stroll to burn some more. I know running, cycling or whatever would burn more calories in less time but I'm too exhausted to even jog!

Don't be too hard on yourself. Good for you for getting some exercise in, but it is very hard to work out enough to make up for a binge. You cannot change what you did yesterday, but you can learn from it. Have a plan for eating to help you avoid eating the wrong things. I have to get the bad food choices out of the house, personally. That way, even if I want to eat, I eat the food that is here, not the chips or cookies that I left at the store. Try to get some sleep. Good luck!

Having a set sleep and rise schedule helps me. Also valerian helps with my mind if it is going a million miles a minute and i have trouble sleeping. Binging makes me feel guilty and worse yet makes me have trouble sleeping well. I too have used food for comfort. Make a plan, stick to the plan: sleep, exercise and food and it may take some time but your body will adjust and perhaps you will get better rest. Making good habits helps get rid of the bad ones.

Not sure this will help but when I eat something I know I shouldn't and I get it I'm a big emotional eater too I try not to be to hard on myself. I do remind myself that eating more bad food or not exercising will not help the situation.

Lack of sleep can really affect everything. Dealing with that as well in other ways.. not getting my exercise in.
