BabyYin's Journal, 09 Jun 23

Good Lord I can't tell how much I weigh anymore. The floors are so uneven in this apartment. I weighed 237 yesterday and today 241 again. No way possible because I did good .

I have. I even put a kettle bell on it to test it and it was right. But mine goes up and down at least 10 pounds every time even one right after another.

Wish I could but when you have to weigh a number to get surgery. Plus I went from 550 to now around 240 I like to keep track.

get a ceramic tile or wooden tile to put the scale on that helps some

or try taking it outside to a flat surface. Be sure to recalibrate it...maybe change batteries. I found that I did better weighing once every week or 2. Seeing daily scale fluctuations made me frustrated. How my clothes fit let's me know what direction I'm going. Spandex is the devil, except when exercising, keeping us comfortable when overeating/gaining. 😁

If you think that the crooked floor is the problem, you can get a small piece of plywood the add shims to make it level. Put the scale on the plywood. I often weigh myself on a boat. A slight tilt usually won't mess it up too much. Any tilt should cause the scale to read low rather than high. It is the bouncing from waves that can cause it to read high.

I weigh myself on my scale 5 times, and get a different reading each time. I take the one I see the most......annoying.
