Next time you want to say you “only” lost 10lb take pics. Still some ways to go until I reach my “long and lean”. Once I do it’s time to rebuild 💪🏻

Congratulations! 10lbs is a good amount for some, but it might not be noticeable for others. It comes down to the percentage of body weight lost.

Obviously a 10lb loss look different on everyone, personally I was surprised what a difference it has made already. I have about 10-15lb more to go until I’m back in my zone where I felt great. I’m 5’10” for reference and not looking for skinny. I lift weights but due to injury, surgery and recovery that lasted 9 months I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass. All good. Life is beautiful and I’ve got a lot left in my tank to give.

I will say that I gained 10lb between Oct 2021 to April 2022 during which time to make a long story short I lived on a mattress on the floor. My relocation was delayed and I had cleared 90% of my apt in preparation. I was miserable and stressed. Uber eats became my bff. April 2022 I moved back to FL. I walked less and injured my groin in July 2022. All high impact lower body exercises were a no go. Cardio was tough. I hit upper body hard but didn’t adjust my calories. Work was/is hell. By hell I mean busy, beasty but it’s what I do $$$. I didn’t win GM of the year of large airports because I’m pretty 🤣🤣 So boom there was 10lb more. In December I had hip surgery and fully recovered in 3 months. Found a replacement trainer since “Muscle Mike” didn’t move with me. Lol so now I rock with George. We’re rebuilding muscle. I lost 10lb fat cuz I severely restricted my calories and cut out booze. Yes not healthy but I’ll deal w that later, cutting booze healthy yes of course. Still got some shredding to do. Yes I eat but we know fat loss comes from a calorie deficit. 10 lb more then I’ll readjust my sail; we got muscle to build.
