Crazy weekend -
Saturday, hubby took youth group to mts for hiking and rock sliding fun. He brought me home supper, which I ate wholeheartedly at 11pm. Rewind - Dropped Love off at doggie daycare, had breakfast with Mom, and friends. Went to local flea market, helped load furniture that friends bought. Went to Lowe's for some cleaning supplies and threshold. Delivered friends furniture that was in my car, preventing flower purchases at Lowes (thank goodness). Came home and started moving things out of the abyss, starting with a double bed. Moved bed to our old bedroom until abyss cleaned out, then it will be set up in that room. Moved all our clothes from our old bedroom into new bedroom. Cleaned out and moved chest of drawers from abyss into our new closet. Sacrificed all drawers except the bottom. All 4 drawers will be for my husbands stuff. Bottom drawer is mine -- undies and socks. Was in a flurry of activity, with a "break" around 5:15pm to go pick up Love from doggie daycare. Came back and right back at it I went. So I thought we didn't have alot of clothes....HA! I did clear out 3 kitchen garbage bags of clothes that I had kept for "when I got back down"...yeah, that was two years ago of unnecessary storage. Gone. Let someone else enjoy them for a while! Vacuum cleaner died...didn't help that I accidently sucked up a microfiber cloth in the tube. Prior to that, it was blowing dust back out at the base. Guess shouldn't have used it to suck up construction dust. R.I.P. Walked Love around house a few more times, fed her, and still I waited for supper. Showered. And finally got a text that they had returned to church and were on the way home. Guess our estimate of returning at 8pm was about 2 hours shy of the actual return time. Oops.

Sunday - Stayed home with Love while hubby worked sound at church and taught Sunday school. Leftovers for lunch (BBQ chicken and salad). I started cleaning up the screen porch area from the completed construction. Ended up tossing our free glider -- cracked at back, and was only a matter of time before it collapsed with a rider. Removed all the stuff that needed to go to the garage, to the garage. Swept off porch. Rearranged furniture. Then prepared for church meeting at our house in an hour. Fortunately, we had pre-planned what we were to talk about, and it was a matter of printing it off. Then crammed for youth Bible study lesson -- again, had looked at it about a month ago, and needed a refresher. Meeting came and went. Then I left to teach youth. After 2 hours, returned and grabbed a salad with BBQ chicken (not a shake) --I knew I was over, but wasn't sweating it. Had enjoyed a few pieces of candy at youth program. And outside of taking Love out a few times, and watching the music awards, called it a night!

Monday - working from home again. Hoping to come in Friday. Have a funeral to go to on Thursday. Amazing how things have a way of just popping up and filling up our calendar!
