For once, I’m doing something I can do indefinitely, but lately I *really* want faster results. That tension has become strong. I need to be patient but it’s hard not to get caught up in it.

Is it possible to bulk up top and cut below the waist? ha

Patience is as valuable as time and neither can be purchased, unfortunately. Guard your recovery time; impatience endangers it. Just keep plugging!

Thanks Tom. It's become clear this time (after 15 years!) that the missing piece for me was going slow. I wouldn't run fad diets or skip strength training, but I had a bad habit of setting too-aggressive targets. This time around I was too sick of calorie counting to do it again, and so I accidentally integrated better habits, instead of pretending I was at fat camp :P

But the closer I get to the end goal, the more the difference bothers me, even if it's smaller. It's weird but I suppose it's necessary.
