I didn't feel like my workout was good yesterday. An hour not counting warm up. No difference really than the day before.. I think my heart just wasn't in it. I pushed through but I wonder the effect it has. 🤔

Yes- I agree RBehjati. That's why I feel like it wasn't as effective as usual- but better than sitting on my ass.

I wonder all the time if my workouts pay off. 4 years of doing it has seemed to make a difference, but each one is just a small part of the benefit. It’s definitely not an immediate reward situation. Except a good pump here and ther5

The more more you work out the harder and harder it will be to see a transformation, because everyone will reach a plateau where they stay consistent sometimes you may have to go above and beyond as in uping weight and workout duration

You paid attention to those things you know you have to do. No matter how you feel. When I can do this ( not great at it) I feel at least somewhat better for just getting outside of myself and doing the "drill". For me that feeling you decribed so well does ebb and flow for me. The positive effect for me in pushing through those times comes later. When I look back I am amazed and proud and thankful thatI stayed with it in spite of how I felt. At those moments of triumph (for someone like me) I become renewed , reinvigorated and more creative with my workouts. Key for me is "Easy does it but Just do It" Thank you for your post -needed to think about that.
