CorzaR76's Journal, 30 Dec 22

I've lost 10kg in the past 3 months, but I don't feel any different. 10kg is a lot. it's quite heavy when you pick it up. am I the only one that doesn't feel the change? maybe I should start measuring myself. I just thought, after losing 10kg I'd be bouncing off walls. shows just how over weight I am.

I bet others noticed the difference. The breasts were the first place I lost lots of weight, then the butt. My clothes gave me the noticable loss when they became baggy and loose in areas until too big they fell off. Weirdly there are days I feel big, look big and think I'm still overweight 🤷‍♀️ I look in the mirror and see I'm slim or people I haven't seen for awhile or my lovely hibby comment on how slim I am. But to me, my clothes are my gauge and the difference to my health not the scales or people's comments. Don't give up your body will reward your health.

10 kgs is amazing. As you say, try picking that up and carrying it around, it’s heaving and would tire you!. So you have removed 10 kg of strain from your body, it may not be noticeable over 3 months but you might be just a bit less tired each day. If you wear loose clothing you might not notice the difference as quickly either. It’s the little things, like my bra straps aren’t digging in as much. We are all here to support you, as others have said, keep going. Keep a journal, here or private, on your energy and mood and activity. Sometimes we need to look back to see how far we have come. Good luck. Onwards and downwards.

You will look slimmer, absolutely. The health benefits would be substantial. I am only just now starting to feel better in terms of better energy levels (getting towards 90kg) so please don't be discouraged and keep plugging!

I started at 138kg and didn't really 'feel' much different until 115kg-ish, though I think semi-regular exercise was part of that. I can sort of run again.
