Don't forget to take a break, put your feet up and chill.

Whew! I am worn out listening to all you need to do today! I know you feel better getting that drain fixed and your dishes all clean again. Hope you get rid of the coon today, too. Good luck with the coon trapping!

Hey Mom, love your avatar!! I switched mine to the cute raccoon in the trap this am. They are so cute, but I've gotten to hate them. Kathy, doing anything physical is like sanity therapy for me. I work in a mentally exhausting business. Stripping wallpaper is actually relaxing. I know weird.. Talked to one of the guys that will be working on my house, they may start on taking all that contaminated insulation out on Monday! YAHOO!! Also spent some time on the phone with middle DD she sent me Valentine dance photos of her kids. They are too cute, too scary being young teens, especially the girls, I have 2 stunning granddaughters and cute grandsons. I'll try to post some photos now that I can copy and paste.

Happy V day! Don't envy you with the wallpaper stripping but understand what you mean by relaxing. A change is sometimes as good as or better than a break! Have a great day!!!!

Yup, different, moving the body instead of sitting at a desk. My body isn't really good at sitting. Have a super day.

Thank you WFN! Your racoon is just adorable! Look at those eyes. Ha! Ha! He or she is so upset they are leaving their lovely home. You got a lot done today!

They are so cute with their masks and they look cuddly. I no longer like them. Actually that one is a good sized male. He was not at all happy when the kid stuck the cage in the back of the truck. I think there is still at least a female in the attic. Haven't gotten up there, too much rustling around. Grins.. Instead I'm all sticky from wallpaper paste/glue. Tomorrow will be stickier, getting all the glue off. I should have all the wallpaper off shortly, just above the sink left to do. I'm tired, about ready to crash and figure out some sort of dinner. It's almost 6pm.

Girl ... go throw something in the oven and get cleaned up .. and enjoy a glass of vino with your feet propped up.

Grins.. feet up, can of ice cold beer, kitchen stuff all over my house, several inches of soggy wallpaper on my kitchen floor, it will clean up easier dry tomorrow. Also talking off and on to scattered extended family on facebook. It's always a tough for us. My Mom's birthday was Valentines Day. She died 10 days after her 81st birthday party in 2007, losing a hard fought battle against cancer. It was a blessing as death stopped her pain. Her grand kids have been on line today chatting as she was a special part of their lives.

Great advice MOM! Good for you WFN - feet up, beer, connecting with family and memories! Have a good night.

Stripping wallpaper wasn't what I needed to do but wanted to. Anxious to get my kitchen done. My peaceful night turned a bit bizarre. An old friend called that I hadn't talked to for awhile. I was on a speaker phone with both she and her DH. They had been drinking homemade wine and quite a bit of it. So this odd disjointed conversation. I'll have to give her a call when she is sober. It was good to hear from her.

I agree with you. Accomplishing something physical - like stripping wallpaper or painting or such - is so satisfying. I too mainly sit at a desk or in meetings all week. Also high stress. At work, it's hard to tell that I've ever really accomplished anything because things still look the same - and there's always more similar work waiting to be done. In contrast, you can walk in your kitchen and see that the wallpaper is gone. If you're like me, every time you see the lasting results of physical labor it makes you happy.

Your Valentine's Day was a full day, WFN! Hope today is just as productive. Hugs!

aw21204, right something that gets accomplished and stays relatively done, not like washing dishes, they come back over and over. For me it's Ok if it takes awhile, though I'm anxious to get it done, it will probably be a couple weeks yet before it's painted the window treatments are up, the shelves installed on the walls.

Dishes ugh!! Kathy, at least I can do them again, thanks to the plumber, $100.00 and the kitchen sink drain being fixed yesterday. I do like it when my kitchen is clean. Grins... hate doing dishes though.

I do dishes even though I have a dishwasher. Conservative with the water as we have a well. I consider it an unnecessary evil. But it keeps me on my feet for my allotted 1 hour after eating rule.

I alternate with the dishwasher ... sometimes I wash the dishes for therapy!

No one likes Windows 8. Yuck. Definitely sounds like a full Valentine's weekend. Don't know how you deal with the critters. God bless you. I never could.

Bought my nutribullet, just have the book out so far. I don't agree with some of the things they say about foods to avoid like black pepper?? but that's OK. Also looks like I'm going to have to wash it all by hand. Since my dishwasher often sits for several days without running it with rinsed dishes I always use the steam and the sanitizer, they warn about using it and the blades aren't able to be run through the DW. Will not unpack it yet. I won't get anything else done.:));)) Lunch break is over so back to making chili then working on my kitchen.
