So I just started IF..
It's not been super easy by any means but I've seen really great results so keep pushing through.
I more than not, eat the same foods all the time. Not because I'm withholding from myself... I've always been like that. My mom says I was like that when she carried me. I find a few things I like and eat them til I get on a new kick. With my new diet restrictions it also makes life easier.
All last week I averaged about an 850 deficit. I was losing more each day than I am accustomed to.
So normally I weigh myself first thing in the morn. Since the IF is new to me I've been weighing maybe two more times a day just out of curiosity.. to have an idea of I'll still lose in the morning. Each day prior to today with food in my system I've weighed no more than 2-3lbs more than my morning weigh in when I've checked in the afternoon/ evening. Today, I don't know what I've done... but I am up over 5lbs and terribly worried. Maybe it'll change some by morning but have a bad feeling I will still be up.
Any ideas???
I know I may seem neurotic and I shouldn't be so focused on one days numbers.. but I am😂
It seems like so many of you really have a handle on what you are doing... I am literally flying by the seat of my pants and just can't imagine what's changed today from all last week.

Stop worrying. It’s actually pretty amazing how wildly weight can fluctuate sometimes. Just stay on top of your plan and wait. Trends are what you need to watch, and over a 10 day span, not 10 hours. Changing when you eat, how much, etc. will all affect your body’s processing speed. Be sure you are getting plenty of water and sleep. And stop worrying.

I eat the same way. The truth is I'm very picky so I don't ever look for things to eat that involve ranch dressing, sour cream, avocados, rhubarb, parsnips, malted milk balls, organ meats, on and on. I have a page full of hated foods. I grew up doing intermittent fasting normally. Was seldom hungry. At sometimes only OMAD and not much of a meal. Skinniest girl until after menopause. You might have gotten into some extra salt or have retained stool or have some edema from exercise. Weight fluctuates normally and can vary anywhere up to 5 pounds without being significant as fluid moves in and out of cells. Tom is right. Worry makes things worse.

Thanks MorticiaAddams you are the best. We have similar eating paths. I gained 1.4 lbs after my 26 stops to the bathroom in the night. I'm exhausted from getting up and down. That alone should of burned calories 😂 I honest to God don't remember drinking that much yesterday. I just can't wrap my mind around what I did to gain. Although it's been a difficult week at home n I was unable to do much at all. I didn't get back to the gym til yesterday from Friday and even my steps were few during that time. I guess that could of caught up with me. I'm not as worried as I was last night (because 1.4 is much easier to wrap my mind around that 5+) but still have a little far of eating rn which I know isn't great. 😬🙏🏼
