I think bariatric surgery and lapband types of things are so necessary for people and truly life saving. My sister had it done and went from 325 pounds to 170. She never worked out. She got surgery to lift her butt and boobs and tummy tuck and upper arms. If I had a 100% guarantee that I would look great and recover without issues, I'd consider getting rid of my loose skin. What am I getting at? I support people who have done it on his/ her own. I'm not impressed by people losing 200# because their stomach went from football size to the size of a walnut and they can no longer eat. Yes, it's needed. Yes, it's life saving. So glad it's working for you is the best I can say. Hopefully it is maintained. I do not think the work is being put in enough to get kudos. 🙄 I would definitely have chosen that route if I didn't realize I could do it on my own but I don't think I'd post about my success and dole out advice telling others to just keep pushing. I wouldn't expect congratulations and praise on a job well done. Maybe that's just me. On another note... how is it Thursday already? I asked the Google home mini if it was, in fact, Thursday to be sure and she refuses to say anything other than "Today is today. ". I hate her and she hates me. My bedroom Google guy is never a jerk. Happy Thursday! Keep at it!

Unpopular opinion, but my point of view, also usually the same thing and not mutually exclusive if that makes any sense at all: Getting the surgery is still her hard work. Eating the diet for surgery is still hard work. Recovering from the surgery is still hard work. Adhering to restrictions is still hard work. Plastic surgery is still hard work. Lap band surgery is still hard work. Skin removal is still hard work. The gaining of weight and losing of weight is still hard work. The exercise is still hard work. Me laying on my big fat ass eating these bonbons whilst I harass you and be a troll on your post, hard work. I love you princess and I see you. You work your ass off and you have high expectations of yourself. Don’t know the context of your post, but of course people who have surgery think a little bit differently. Not saying I’ve done that lap band surgery personally, but I’ve seen it firsthand about the success and the failures. It’s tough business. But then there’s also like going to the gym and being a powerhouse and doing it that route. Who’s to say you can’t do both though My apologies in advance if I am not pertinent to the topic lol wouldn’t be my first time

Oh I forgot about this part. I was going to say this lol and God dammit princess, have you & my plastic surgeon been talking about me behind my back? Like literally I just saw a picture of my own butt and I thought dang it that’s a lot of liposuction gone down the tubes lol. I did not in fact maintain in the sense of surgical maintenance But sssshhhh 😅🤪 And you know what? That was 15 years ago sister and I’d say it’s never looked better

I'm sure you look great, Kay. You can definitely go whichever route you choose. I am simply saying I am not congratulating someone who lost 200 pounds when he/she cannot eat as if he did it on his own. I'll congratulate someone for taking the step to get the surgery done when it is needed- but no way am I going to be super impressed by the fact that weight is literally dropping off. What else would it do when you literally have almost zero intake?
