This happens to me periodically. I've learned not to fight it - only makes it worse. For me, given the nature of my workouts, it comes down to sleep, hydration, and carbs. How are you sleeping? Are you hydrated? Are you eating the right carbs in the right amounts? You may also just need a recovery week. I don't know how intensely you exercise, but if your goal is to "go hard" every workout, you may just be a little burnt out and need some down time and recovery. On the days where my mind and heart (and body) just aren't cooperating, I just go for a nice long walk. That's my two cents. You'll come around - this will pass.

Hi Allegra40 😀 thank for the encouraging words :) I do think I need a reset ( and working out late at night after work could be why I’m tired). I hope your doing well and had an amazing weekend .🌞🦋

Maybe each muscle group needs a little more recovery time to repair. :) I try to wait 2 days at least in between the same muscle group.

Maybe eat a carb snack 15-30 minutes before your workout. That helps me.

Hi Charlie I do a pro split that goes my body enough time to recover. Every second day training the same muscles I think is too soon in my opinion some people can handle it and some can’t.

New Wayne makes a good point. You may need more recovery time. I leave 2 days in between my full body WOs. Sometimes 3 if I’m exhausted from work.

Hi Charlieloveschapine, your great the only bells I pick up are bluebells😅🤣😂. But I do hoop with the ball weight on. And use my exercise bike also walk everyday. I work as a cleaner so that helps too. When I retire I will be at the gym, swim and a dance class eg zumba or something. Have a Happy Sunday. Merry Mel 😍.
