Everyone is different indeed @yetanotheraccount. It's like the political divide we have in this country. Our side is right/other side is wrong. So many groups here. The vegans, the ketos, the carnivores, the T-birds and Pink ladies. It can be divisive but I'm for ANYONE who's happy/healthy/ and getting results.

@YetAnotherAccountLOL98 I get that. My mom has been a vegetarian most of my life, but luckily she didn't push it on me. I've always hated fruit, I ate maybe a banana a few times a year and maybe a peach cup a few times a year. I liked some veggies, broccoli, cauliflower, raw spinach, ect but otherwise I stuck to meats, and dairy and a few grains like bread and Mac n cheese, and I only ate twice a day max and stayed healthy when I was younger, then I got told I didn't eat enough and started eating more, along with more carbage and it started a nasty snowball effect. I'm a carboholic and I go off the rails when I have them, and I feel amazing without them, so I'm just trying to stay away from them. When I get where I need to be, I might have a little veg from time to time, but if I'm smart I'll stay away from the grains and higher carb stuff and sweets.
@2handedjam thanks! And I agree as well. I may not agree with vegans, and I think some of the standings are wrong (mostly environmental stuff) but if they feel best eating that way and are acting like the crazy vegan teacher, more power to them! Just means more bacon for me 😆.
YetAnotherAccountLOL98 I might eat 3/4 to a pound and a half a day of meat and eggs. But I also buy local as much as possible to try to keep my footprint down.
I love low carb! Pretty much keto but I’m diabetic and cannot allow my body to go into ketosis apparently! Bummer because I would! The carbs I eat are still whole foods mainly. I’m also CICO kinda gal.

@StormyGirl6 if you haven't checked out Dr Berry you should. There's 1000s of people who are diabetic and so really well on almost 0 carb, and even more who have reversed their diabetes. Type 1s and type 2s and even type 3s (alztheimers/dementia/mood disorders) have all had success 🙂
It's funny, I'm the opposite -- you never liked fruit, I never liked meat. These days, I'm mostly vegan. Honestly, a lot of the reason a diet succeeds is if you can stick to it. I'd be miserable on your diet, and you'd probably be miserable on mine 😉 We each have to find what works for us 😊

@writingwyo that's how my mom is too, I just ask her to eat eggs sometimes to get some real proteins in.
@Jackie_O Gotta have that bacon and lots of it. ;)
