Stressing over a few things coming in April. Have a major crazy project at work that I didn't get an early enough jump on. I'm visiting family in April, which will be lovely but...every time I've gone to see them, I've gained weight. I don't plan on being strict about things, but I feel so much better eating the way I have been that I don't want to get too far astray. I'll do my best to search out the foods in the house that make me feel good and are healthy. I'll try to be gracious, but there are things I may simply decline. It's not even a trying to stick to my diet thing at this point. I just find a lot of things I used to eat have no appeal anymore. I'm really, really hoping my father doesn't decide to welcome me with a pork roast. Ugh 😒

It does help. I actually decided to text my stepmom and let her know that I'm not eating much meat or dairy these days, but that I'm flexible about it. I'm not adamant, so a little meat or cheese isn't the end of the world, but I didn't want her to make us a big hunk o'meat thinking it would be a treat for us 😉 She makes great bean soup and usually has hummus and guacamole, fruits, veggies around the house so I'll find plenty to eat 😊
