Glad y'all like them!! I'm learning as I go, so I'm working on lichen ID as well as plant and insect ID 😊 I started with fungi and it just went from there. I actually do have an Instagram for my antics, @joe.alec.king if you'd like to see the pics in better detail! I haven't posted all of them yet, I try to space them out.

I'd absolutely love to start learning some algae and seaweed! It's been ages since I've been to the beach or out on the water, I'll have to make a point to do that sometime this year. For now, it's swamps and forests. 😊

I use my phone and occasionally a clip-on macro lens for the little things like lichens.
The biggest difference is on Instagram I post the ID and location alongside a full quality version of the pictures instead of posting them all at once as a collage. The collage is a way to commemorate the entire hike as a nice memory and IG is a way to showcase the photos individually.
