It was pretty good!! I think it would have been better with some fruit preserves

Tomorrow I’m doing this…1 cup water with one scoop chocolate protein powder as per package instructions. Soak 1/2 cup old fashioned oats in 1/2 cup 2% milk for a few minutes. Add four medium strawberries. Blend it all up. Add stevia to desired sweetness. Will report back.

Ok…it’s done. I adjusted to quick oats instead of old fashioned and only used 1/4 cup as it was obvious 1/2 cup was going to be too much for the recipe. I also sized down the milk to 1/4 cup. 1 cup water, one scoop chocolate Body Fortress brand whey protein. Four strawberries. I’m the type that usually chugs my shake in 5 seconds so this was a different experience lol. The taste was great…didn’t have to add any stevia at all. If anything I would add two more strawberries but wouldn’t change anything else for the ingredients. What I would prefer is to have blended it to a much smoother consistency, but I’m in a house where no one else is awake yet so I have to take an electric hand mixer to the bathroom and shut the door to blend otherwise it’s too noisy from the kitchen😂. Ultimately my daily timeline will usually be hot oatmeal or a protein waffle pre workout and a normal shake and eggs afterwards but I will certainly have this again. 👍🏻

Sounds like a fun way to "shake" things up a bit eh? Thanks for the update!! I've taken to making mine the night before, freezing them, and eating them like ice cream in the morning 😂 I like a little more texture instead of well-bkended, so it makes sense that we prepare ours differently if we have different end goals! Glad it was good! 🌻😊
