total quadriceps tendon rupture and patella ripped away from knee cap. nice. not sure how it happened. knee just gave way when i was in the bathroom but i'd fallen twice recently. had to have emergency surgery on friday. geez what a month its been. i hope to start clinic trial for my leukemia in 2-6 weeks. no real rehab for at least 3 weeks my job is to keep the leg straight and immobile. hard for a gym rat. oh well counting calories and eating well is my new job. hope to lose some weight despite these challenges. i'm up 7 lbs but i think alot of that is the weight of the huge leg brace and swelling from the surgery.
