wholefoodnut's Journal, 16 May 14

Decided to look over my food entries the last 2 months, I have not been good at tracking and worse than I remembered. Since my computer update I can now get back to a previous day, that may help me. Must work hard on being consistent with tracking. It helps me focus and plan ahead.

Can feel yesterday's workout. I think it will take a week or so to build back up to doing my usual routine.

Going in an hour late today due to an all day training class, slept later. Work is odd lately with lots of changes, again working some for another fund and will be trained to help out yet another division next week. Cross training is good. Will have an hour lunch today, supposed to be in the 60's so will either walk or work on food plans for next week or my herb plant list for the farmer's market sat.

Weekend is supposed to be nice and gradually heading back into warmer weather. Yard/garden work will continue. This should be the last cold spell so will get some veggie planting done. Next year I can start earlier since my beds will be in place. Plans are to also build some cold frames over the summer to fit the beds to extend fresh veggies into the fall/early winter and earlier in the spring.

Tracking my food helps me too, but can be time consuming & it seism when I most need to track, I'm too busy! But, each day is a new chance to track & take care of ourselves in the best way possible. You're obviously doing that through your exercise & gardening! xoxox

Our FM is finally open too - looking forward to it. Hope they get more vendors this year.

Love the market. Hope you find some yummy things. Ours is mostly plants this time of year , some greens and maybe asparagus. The year round green grocers that have interior stalls will have their produce, though much isn't local. I shop them all year. Ruhu, so right about time consuming. Those are the times I wing it and still watch what I eat. Made a mushroom soup last night that I had for lunch, trying to remember what went in it and how much. Will try to catch today up, brain too tired tonight.
