2 firsts for me: 1) I made fat bombs. Nice!! 2) I put coconut oil in my tea. I actually like it that way! Rather than my tummy still feeling empty, now the tea has some substance and keeps me feeling full! (but I have to drink it with the lid on. Too weird, seeing oil patches in my tea!). I'm going to fill a little container with some co and keep it at work so I can add it to my tea there. I used to snack inbetween classes until I started analyzing my eating, and realized I was eating then JUST to relieve stress. So, I started drinking tea instead, and found it very soothing. Not sure what I'll do when the weather gets warm (though at this rate, I may not have to worry about that until June! lol) Hurray for a high fat diet!

We are doing fat bombs for the first time tomorrow and also just put coconut oil and butter in our coffee this morning. I'm very excited about the fat bombs as I have a nice little sweet tooth. It's nice to see others doing the same things! Good luck to you!

These aren't my recipes, but ones I found. Chocolate-Almond (or peanut butter) 1/4 c. coconut oil, melted 3 T almond butter or peanut butter 3T butter, melted 1 T cocoa sweetener to taste (I used 1/8 t. NuStevia) MELT oil and butter, mix in other ingredients. Put in small containers and freeze. In these, I could pretty much only taste the almond butter. Next time I will use peanut butter and add some Torani chocolate. Lemon 2 T cream cheese, room temp 2 T butter, room temp 2 T coconut oil, melted 1 T sour cream 2 t lemon juice 1/8 t. lemon extract sweetner to taste Refrigerate or freeze

Sorry, that is kind of hard to read. Seems like you can pretty much take equal parts of coconut oil, butter, and any nut butter, and then add flavorings and/or nuts or coconut flakes to your taste. I would like to try making Cream Cheese Clouds, too: 8 oz cream cheese softened; 1 stick unsalted butter softened; 3/4 cup granulated Splenda (or substitute liquid); 1/2 t. vanilla (or other flavoring); beat with electric mixer until fluffy, drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and store in frig. All these fat treats are low carb (depends on how big you make each one), low protein...they are mostly fat--good to pop in to raise your fats for the day and curb hunger.

Let me retype those first ones: Chocolate-Almond: 1/4 c. coconut oil melted; 3T almond butter or peanut butter; 3T butter, melted: 1 T cocoa; sweetener to taste (I used 1/8t. NuStevia). MELT oil and butter, mix in rest of ingredients. Put in small containers (flexible ice cube or candy trays, or paper muffin cups) and freeze.
