STILL SITTING AROUND THE SAME WEIGHT GOT ON THE SCALE THIS MORNING AND NO MOVEMENT... JUST SPENT THE LAST HOUR READING THE FULL JOURNAL HISTORY OF SOMEONE ON HERE, AND FOUND MYSELF LAUGHING ALOT AT PARTS.. IT SO AMAZES ME THE WRITING ABILITY OF SOME PEOPLE, NEEDLESS TO SAY I WISH I WAS BETTER AT IT. I WISH I COULD BE MORE COMMITTED TO WRITING ON HERE AND JOURNALING

I OFTEN WONDER WHY THE WEIGHT JUST DOESN'T COME OFF CAUSE I DON'T EAT ALOT AND I NOTICE ON HERE MY CALORIE EXPENDITURES SAY I HAVE A DEFICIENT EVERY DAY SO THEORETICALLY I SHOULD HAVE LOST ALL OF MY WEIGHT BY NOW, BUT SADLY I AM STILL AT 200 WELL IT MADE SENSE THAT THE OVER CALCULATION OF EXPENDITURES OF CALORIES... I MAY BE EATING LOW CALS BUT I ALSO HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY SEDENTARY LATELY DUE TO 2 THINGS A) MY PULLED HAMSTRING AND B) MY UTTER LACK OF MOTIVATION. SO ALTHOUGH MY LEG DOES HURT AND IS STILL VERY SORE I CAN WALK ... SO WHY DON'T I DO MORE OF IT...

I HAVE BEEN EATING FAIRLY HEALTHY AND KEEPING WITH MY INTERMITTENT FASTING, WHICH I FEEL GOOD AT AND I AM TRYING TO APPROACH THE "HEALTHIER EATING" LIFE STYLE, BUT I STILL HAVE TO MOVE!!
DOES MYBODY NOT RESPOND WELL TO THE HIGHER CARBS. LOGICALLY I KNOW NO ONE DIET WORKS FOR EVERYONE AND WE HAVE TO FIND OUR OWN PATH AND WHAT WORKS FOR US... BUT WHAT WORKS FOR ME?

Hey, guess what? You should pat yourself on the back because a) you're still here b) you're still logging your food and c) you recognize that you're in a slump. What if you just let that hamstring heal and start out with something easy like slow walking or whatever you can manage? I got myself a Jawbone UP that opened my eyes -- turns out I only burn about 1900 calories per day and that means I need to eat 1200 to lose about a pound a week. 1200 is hard, so yeah, it's going to be slow going if you don't step it up with workouts. But be proud of what you ARE doing and hang tough. We're cheering for you!

Try a different level of carbs for a couple weeks and see if that helps! I know for me, carbs are a huge problem. I can eat them and maintain weight if I am careful, but I can NOT lose weight with them. Just experiment with something new for a few weeks and see if it helps! And I agree, let that hamstring heal then work up to where you were again. I have the same issue with my arm... can't do any arm exercises with it!
