Pinot Noir?

Hmm an Oregon Riesling?

I would probably pair a bright and zesty white wine to bring out the tart notes in the sauces and lighten the richness of the porky, cream, and butter.

I love how balanced this dish is. It’ll probably go well with any wine. But a dry citrusy white would be my choice.

Of course, there's no right pairing but I chose the wine to match the cherry-Rhubarb notes --> Pinot Noir. This particular PN is tart, lithe, brightbcherry driven. Last night's Whit Pinot or Riesling were also considered. Thx RosieWCDI & NN❣️🍷

A rose of CabFranc was also in the running

Love that!! What a nice choice. I let my own preference for dry whites influence my answer. This was so fun!!

Glad you enjoyed NN! I hope tame those biases but can't wait till I pair Sauv Blanc with NY Strip for your reasons. 😄

Thx all 😊 Party like it's 1984 @Petra💙 It's a hard job @breco but someone has to do it! 😋 Maybe I do need to change my name to SauceKing or ChefKiss @GibJig 😘 Barley risotto is tasty, filling and the oyster mushrooms provide great texture and flavor @MM2 . Not a chef, just someone who likes to create @Fiberoptic. Anyone can cook, right?0
