Good morning, friends! What an amazing sounding dish! And I love Peema, the adorable Russian decanter guardianess. Chris, look at that smile - I think she’s holding it down just fine. You forget that Russians have a great tolerance. It’s in our blood. 😁 Melissa, I still think that’s so incredible! 💖 When I tell most people where I’m from, some just think of gulags, igloos, and polar bears while others think I’m saying “Serbia”. Pretty cool to talk to someone who’s traveled there and seen the beauty of my home region.

Chris is right NN; Peema is a bit of a lush, but we don't leave her unattended even for a sec. Her bigger sister is however far worse and has issues with vodka. Not a pretty sight when she on a roll. 😆

NewnameMM, beautiful, beautiful place with beautiful, beautiful people! Just maybe we will go back someday for trip number three! We have close friends who have an uncle in Krasnoyarsk with whom we have been invited to stay. I wish we knew them 15 years ago! How it would have made things easier!!! 😊

Thx melissa, Büffetsau, Les😋 The pairing of this meal with pinot noir was delish! 🍷 However, a riesling would have paired excellently as well especially one with good acidity and apricot notes.
