3.8 miles walked today; 3.3 miles yesterday; doggies along for 2.6 on both days.
It's 64 degrees today....do I see any drooling? No sunshine, though, but that's fine by me. Hope to finish up the final bows on a couple packages and then box the last of them to go out FedEx today. Then it's time to concentrate on DH's birthday. I'll be trying out an Atkins-friendly recipe for cake and glaze. Will post the details this weekend if it's any good.
I actually stayed in the 181's today! After hitting it for the first time yesterday, I expected to pop up 2 or even 3 pounds, as that's been the recent trend. I'm very happy I stayed down as this is more like how my losses would go before I hit this sticky stretch of 180's in October.

I'm drooling here in cold Vermont. We had sun that was trying to break through, but didn't make it. Now it is s@#wing again. Good for you that you didn't gain. I know just how you feel about the sticky stretches. In time, it will go. Nice job on the walks. Did the pups give you lots of kisses because they were able to go walking with you? Hope you had a great day. When is DH's birthday? Does he feel he gets jipped because it is so close to Christmas? Hope not.:)

Exactly 1 week prior! He doesn't get gyped, I get added stress!! I used to go overboard making sure he had specific birthday gifts and separate Christmas gifts, often buying what seemed like tons of stuff just so both occasions would be complete. Now, however, we both pretty much ignore birthday gifts, opting to just go out for dinner. I get him a card for his birthday but almost never get one on my day. :( Anyway, this year, I did find an extra cute gift that works for the holiday season only....a regular ballcap made into a Santa stocking-type cap. So, that will be his birthday gift as well as the hopefully-good Atkins-friendly birthday cake. I'm definitely doing the happy dance today, as I dropped off all the gifts that need shipping to FedEx within the last hour. Whew!!!! I have a few small things to wrap for DH - for both Christmas and that cap for his birthday - and that's it!!! Everything is where it's supposed to be. I sure hope it warms up a bit up there in VT but that you can still enjoy a White Christmas.
