You know that feeling when you are just so tired that nothing else matters? That's where I was yesterday.

I work in a high school, and with Covid happening, everything is crazy, and I'm wiped by the end of every day. Well, yesterday, I had a phone appointment to get my younger son a checking account, which turned into a mad dash to pick him up from home and get to the bank to do it in person. I was just DONE by the time I made it home. I scarfed down some dinner without really thinking about it, and then fell asleep on the couch for three hours.

When I woke up, I was HUNGRY. I am not really sure what I ate, but I know the list includes poptarts, toaster strudel, and peanuts. Also, I think chocolate chips. I'm pretty sure I also ate a mess of good cheese (a Dutch cheese called Cantenaar that is DELICIOUS), and I think I had a teaspoon or two of homemade jam...

Tonight, hubby got home with a box of French macarons (which I really enjoy). I had 3, and I'm good.

So what, exactly, is my body trying to tell me?
