Down another pound - I am now 214. I am sure it's because I have been keeping my fats high and my carb's 20 or under! Counting down to my business trip now. I have extra food insurance because I am bringing some on plan foods with me ... such as tuna, almonds, etc. I am still on plan and now have 31 days on low carb. I don't know if I've ever stuck to any eating pattern this long so I am really feeling good.

Discoveries are wonderful and I have some already: (1) The more I eat this way, the more I do not want to eat off plan because I feel I have accomplished so much and I don't want to jeopardize how great I feel (2)When you are obese, as I am, it's very difficult to see the physical changes after as much as 15 pounds but you definitely feel it in your clothes, so don't get too upset if people do not notice right away (3)Raw cauliflower (one of my favourites) does not sit well with me all of a sudden - I will have to cook it now. I used to eat raw without ill effects before this way of eating and now, it makes my tummy upset and very gassy .. enough said! (4) It's important to watch how your body reacts to food, even the ones that are considered OK for LC because you may see some unexpected reactions that weren't there before.

Busy today because I have to take dear mom to her dentist (she doesn't drive) and I have a pedicure in the evening. I started off with a good breakfast and will likely bring something to snack on just in case I am delayed in getting back home (tee hee ... look at me plannng ahead!).
