My weight is holding at 126.2 with small, incremental gains and losses of a few ounces.

I started talking to my therapist about my food addiction issues and, I think it's helping.
I have such a complicated relationship with food even on good days.
Years of ballet and dance have messed up my idea of healthy body weight and shape.
So I'm working on fixing this.

Small wins this weekend:
Weekends are usually a little dicey as far as schedules and food and exercise because we have so much to do. This weekend was no different BUT instead of opting for Burger King and an Impossible Burger which: 1. May kick of a slight allergic reaction because they don't maintain separate grills and 2. I won't actually enjoy very much - we chose to come home and make dinner together.
So we came home and made black bean burgers and loaded french fries covered in a cashew cheese sauce and I was so much happier than I would have been with the BK Lounge.

In the last year I have lost 93 lbs and 28 inches overall and this is good but if I don't alter my relationship with food and work on healthier attitudes, I'm just going to gain it all back.

What wonderful meal decision! Sounds like you are on a great path. Most of us have never been dancers, but I'm guessing many of us have at least a little bit of a distorted view of food and weight. Losing the weight is for sure just the first step, but you are maintaining what you lost beautifully and still dropping! YAY!!!

Hi there, Melissa! I think a lot of people are body dysmorphic and don't even realize it. Thank you for the always kind words. I'm going to shoot you a message later today.❤️

You really do understand what it takes to lose and maintain that weight loss. We go to the gym and eat well, and go to the drs to keep the body healthy, therapy is a great way to do a mental health check💪💪💪

@Moopie - I really over complicated it for years and restricted and binged and restricted and binged - and I was never really as "clear" about it as I am now. My eating was super disordered. I really want to fix that. 💞💞
