Another hot and humid day today. I had such good luck with the omelet yesterday that I decided to make an even better one this morning. This time I made it with sweet peppers, bacon bits and cheese. I know it has more calories, but it tasted so much better. Ymmm. Yesterday, an omelet carried me through the whole day until supper. Tonight, I've got to go to a little girl's birthday party, and I'm hoping it will carry me through till then also. I may eat something light before I go, don't know. I don't plan on eating any ice cream and cake; it's something I can usually say no to without feeling sorry for myself. I'm going to try and get the primer paint inside and out on the cabinets today. Then I have to make the doors and drawers and install the slides and hinges. Won't get done this weekend, but it's showing progress.

Just got done with my workout: Warm up at 3.0 mph for 5 min/Run 5 min @ 5mph, walk 2.5 min @ 3.0 mph (Repeat 4 times); cool down 5 min @ 3.0 mph, then slow down to a crawl for a couple minutes. Humidity is so high, even with an industrial fan blowing on me. Sweat profusely. Went outside and turned the hose on myself to cool down. Set it on mist and the cold water felt so good!

Hope everyone that celebrates Labor Day gets to have a great one. Happy Weekend to you all!

It is hard to understand how a cemetery raised its burial cost and blamed it on the cost of living.

Omelete sounds fab... I love a savoury omelete :-). You sound like you are really making progress on the cabinets. Well done on doing that work out :)

Thanks, even if the exercise had nothing to do with burning calories, there is just something about exercising that makes you more conscious of what you eat. Maybe it's because it reminds you how much discomfort you're going to have to go through to take it back off. :)
