The SUN is out....the SUN!!! Blue skies and a drying breeze made this morning only a 7-8 on the UGH Index. DH got the dogs out early when it was only 71 degrees!!! Amazing! Of course, it didn't last long....the day is heating up at a quick pace. Got all my walking in, taking advantage of drier sidewalks and the sunshine.

No recordable drop on the scale today but I'm perfectly fine with that. 150 is coming - I'm very close!!!! My weight record here at home, where I record tenths, shows me a very nice nearly-2-pound loss since last Monday (1.8 pounds, actually). I can live with that and it's keeping me very close to my weekly target. If I'm running a day or so "late," again, I can live with that.

I'll be very happy to get back into more of a Maintenance phase when I get these last pounds dropped, though. I'm getting bored with the super-strict carb restriction. I know I could restrict even more, but I just can't face that serious of a restriction. I refuse to give up my blueberry pancakes on Saturday splurge!!! LOL! As long as my body can stay in "loss" mode at this level, that's where I'll try to hang out.

Just 2 more weeks of my Labor Day Blitz to go. I may have to face extending it just a bit, maybe another week or two beyond Labor Day, to get the final pounds off, if my current weight loss pace continues. We'll see how this all shapes up as I get closer.

I have thrift shop duties this afternoon, so I'll get in my share of extra mileage and a lot of bending, as there's usually lots of clothing to be picked up from the floor after a weekend.

Yeah for the sun! It helps when there are blue skies! Love your attitude, that you will get there even if it takes a few extra days. Keep up the great work!

Thank goodness on the sun. I was beginning to worry. Keep up the great work. I'm guessing you'll drop below and won't actually hit 150. Have a great day Sandy.

Bren....are you back now, or are you logging in while with your family? No matter which....certainly glad to see you!

Heather, you may be right. In fact, I'm doing that mental trick again, where I'm telling myself I already hit a number goal and I'm focusing on the target pound below that - 149 and the BLUE line!!!! (Be still, my heart....) :)

LOL. Know that feeling (although not the blue line part yet). Go, girl, go.
