Same old, same old. Another hot, humid day; UGH Index a full 10. I took the dogs for only a mile and then did the rest by myself.

Yesterday, I didn't do any exercise walking in the neighborhood, opting to mow, trim, and edge the front lawn instead. The sweat's the same, no matter what I choose - LOL!

At the thrift store yesterday, another volunteer offered me a garden-fresh eggplant. Sure! Why not? I haven't had eggplant in quite awhile, so DH cut it up and baked it last night. It was a bit off my meat-and-eggs thing right now, but perfectly legit, long-term. Also, the Parmesan cheese on top was a splurge, as I've avoided cheese for a week now. (Actually, DH made me eggs on Sunday morning - what a nice gesture! - and added a slice of cheese.)

I'm thinking I'm going to continue on meat-and-eggs this week with minimal veggies. I'm doing well on it and it is really keeping my hunger under control. Except for a PB craving (of course!) last night, this regimen has been pretty easy on me. And no, I did not give in to that craving....I have a specific scale target in my sights that I'm trying to reach by week's end. And, no, it's not my goal weight (yet). LOL!

Today, I've got specific household chores to do that I've been avoiding, so I made up a schedule in my head to tackle them. Gotta get going....I'm 10 minutes late for my next chore (groan).

You sound like us today..we have worked our butts off in the yard and barn lot..finished up around 6:30 pm..I am one tired girl right now..LOL..Just wanted to stop by to say hello..Looks like your doing great with your WOE...:O)
