After 2 months in "stay-at-home" environment and cooking comforting meals every day, I have gained back about 9 pounds of weight I had lost.

It looks like we will be in this self-choice isolation at least another couple months, and I don't want to add to my weight gain anymore. So today I go back to moderation and tracking my input here on Fat Secret. It helps me to see calories and categories balanced each day. I then make adjustments for the next day or week. I need that daily reinforcement and/or warning to keep me motivated. Amazing, but at age 66, it's I still need that daily kick in the butt! Otherwise I drift into lethargy quickly & unaware.

So today's the day to begin again. As a movie character stated the other night, "You only drown in the river if you stay submerged." So I'm coming up for air, again. And so it is.

I LOVE this app because of the support from the community, it helps so much along the way. And for me it makes it easier to track what I eat; I come for the camaraderie and stay to enter stuff along the way. Good luck and welcome. 😊
